About Manisha

Manisha Claire is a writer and editor from Toronto, Canada, currently based in Massachusetts. She writes about history and pop culture, and her work has appeared in Smithsonian Magazine, The Atlantic, Hazlitt, The Globe and Mail, Topic, ELLE, and Jezebel, among other publications. Manisha currently works at Harvard University and previously was a senior editor at cléo: a journal of film and feminism and an arts editor at Shameless Magazine. She also served on the editorial collective of independent publishing company Between the Lines.

Manisha received a B.A. in history from McGill University and an M.A. from the Ryerson-York Joint Programme in Communication and Culture. Her work has also appeared under the name Manisha Aggarwal-Schifellite.
